Westringia Fruticosa 'Coastal Rosemary' is a dense, evergreen Australian native shrub which is bushy and compact. It has crowded, grey-green, rosemary-like leaves that are velvety white beneath. It is fast growing and is excellent for establishing hedges.  Flowers white to light mauve for most of the year. Use in tough, exposed sites. It is ideal for native display plantings, seaside gardens or as an informal hedge.  It tolerates a wide range of soils and conditions.  Grows best in well-drained soil in a sunny, open position.  Thrives under coastal conditions, including salt laden winds.  Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.  Benefits from Summer watering.
