Ligustrum Vulgare Buxifolium

Ligustrum Vulgare Buxifolium, also known as wild privet, or common privet or European privet.   Its a fast growing hedge and is a great choice for a formal hedge or topiary, the small foliage on this cultivar is rounded and resembles English Box.

Ligustrum is an extremely hardy plant and grows well in both cool and warm climates. 

It likes a well drained loam. Ensure it does not get full sun all day. Prune after flowering to keep in shape.  Easy to propagate from cuttings in summer after flowering is over.
