Viburnum Opulus 'Sterile' - Snowball Tree

Viburnum Opulus 'Sterile' - Snowball Tree is a large deciduous shrub bearing small, green balls of flowers that enlarge and turn pure white.  The snowball-like flower heads give the shrub its common name.  A showy, adaptable shrub which is ideal specimen planting and for shrub borders.  Prefers a sunny to partly shaded position in rich, moist, well drained soil.  Tolerates wet and boggy sites.  Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.  Keep moist in dry weather.
