Lavender - Lavandula stoechas 'Avonview'

Lavender - Lavandula stoechas 'Avonview' (Italian) has vibrant dark blue flower heads with contrasting violet-purple bracts which are produced throughout the warmer months and year-round in hotter climates.  Foliage is soft and a bright greenish-grey. 

Excellent low hedge, screen or container shrub.  Mediterranean and cottage gardens.  Plant spacing for a hedge - 40cm apart

Prefers a warm, open sunny position in a well-drained soil.  Avoid severe frost. Remove spent flowers in Summer to encourage continuous flowering.  Prune back by one third in Autumn.
