Spring Onion (Allium Fistulosum) has white edible stems and bulbs with green leaves. Water well in dry weather. Ideal for home vegetable garden. Ideal use in salads and Asian cuisine. Grow in a sunny position in moist, well drained soil. Plant 10-15cm apart. Matures in 8-10 weeks. Enrich soil with compost and a complete fertiliser.
