Dichondra Repens

Dichondra Repens, also known as Kidney Weed, is a creeping, mat-forming groundcover with small kidney-shaped foliage. Ideal lawn substitute for under trees or low traffic areas or between paving stones and in rockeries. Plant in moist, rich, well-drained soil in full sun to shade. Will not tolerate heavy foot traffic, be sure to destroy all weeds before planting as lawn. Keep moist during dry weather. This is a relatively low maintenance plant, prune back in Spring to maintain shape. Plant 25-30cm apart with the plant at the same level as it was in the pot.
