Nepeta 'Dropmore'

Nepeta x Faasenii 'Dropmore' is a hardy, spreading, compact herbaceous perennial.  It has a neat upright growth habit and it produces an abundant display of tubular blue-purple flowers on long spikes. It flowers in late Spring to Summer. It is suitable as a border plant and in herb and cottage gardens,.  Also looks great in rose gardens and as a ground cover.  It prefers full sun and well-drained poor to fertile soil.  Its tolerant of light shade and frost.  Trim after flowering and cut back in Spring.  Fertilise and mulch in Spring.  It will thrive with extra water.
